8 Accelerators and awards that keep open calls for entrepreneurs and startups

The last quarter of the year is one of the most active in relation to calls for acceleration and prizes specializing in startups and open entrepreneurs. That is why the newspaper El Referente has gathered in the following report all the initiatives that innovative companies are looking for to incorporate them into their programs. Some of them end this October 31, while others will remain open until November and even December.

For the fourth consecutive year the newspaper El Referente has launched its Investment Guide for Startups in that quarter due to the movement in the ecosystem.

Each of the open initiatives is detailed below, which also details the types of projects they are looking for (many of them are sectoral), the registration deadlines set for each program and the direct link to the registration page.

ABANCA

ABANCA has opened the third edition of the ABANCA Innova Startup Program, aimed at any type of startup in the Fintech, Insurtech, Regtech or Cybersecurity sector, from those that are in very early stages to those more developed. The objective of the program is to carry out a proof of concept with ABANCA in which the fit of the startup’s value proposition is validated with both the entity and the market. The call will remain open until November 19 through the web.

BFAero

BFAero, the accelerator specialized in the aeronautical sector has launched its second call, through which it seeks, for incubation and acceleration, projects that provide innovative solutions in the aeronautical and unmanned vehicles sector; Its purpose is to attract national and international talent to Galicia.

Business Factory Food

Business Factory Food (BFFood), the accelerator of the food sector of Galicia driven by the Xunta de Galicia and energized by the Food Cluster of Galicia (Clusaga), has launched its second edition to capture talent and find ten new innovative projects in acceleration phase that respond to the real challenges presented by companies in the food sector. The deadline for submission of initiatives will be open until November 30 at 2:00 pm through the web.

GoHub Andalucía

GoHub Andalucía, the reference deep tech hub in Spain, has launched its open innovation program, encouraging Andalusian startups to jointly develop disruptive solutions that solve the challenge of the sustainability of the industries and cities of the future. Interested startups can now register through the web.

RTVE

Impulsa Vision of RTVE has opened the registration period for its V call. The selected startup projects of Radio Televisión Española startups will participate in the program with a maximum economic endowment of 30,000 euros and nine months duration. The deadline for receiving startup projects will be open until December 22, 2019 through the web.

The Minerva Program

The Minerva Program, in its seventh edition, will select a maximum of 30 technological projects that will have the opportunity to convert their ideas and projects into real business and launch the market. On this occasion they will place special emphasis on initiatives led by women and senior entrepreneurs. The process for submitting applications is done online through the web.

The EmprendedorXXI Awards

The EmprendedorXXI Awards, from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, through Enisa, and CaixaBank, through DayOne, has convened a new edition of an initiative that aims to contribute to the development of innovative young companies, with less than three years of activity and with high growth potential, from Spain and Portugal. Those interested in participating can submit their application until December 4 through the website.

TrenLab

TrenLab announced during the South Summit, its third call for mobility startups. In this new call of the Renfe accelerator three major challenges are launched: digitalization, communication and customer experience. The call will be open until December 3 through the web.
