A new era for startups: Innovation comes first

The factory300 in the Tabakfabrik Linz gets a new management. Tomorrow’s innovation hub for start-ups and established companies will be headed by Johannes Pracher. He takes over this role from Christian Forsterleitner, with whom he will work side by side in March.

About the factory300

As of April, Pracher, who had been very successful in guiding and advancing the Kepler Society, the Alumni Club of the Johannes Kepler University, in recent years, will be responsible for the further development of the hub. This includes not only the factory300 but also the Strada del Startup, which is operated by the factory300 together with the tobacco factory. At the same time, the factory300 team is being expanded to meet the planned further growth and increased requirements of the Strada del Startup.

The factory300 and the Strada del Startup have ushered in a new era for startups and innovative companies in Upper Austria

“The tobacco factory in general is a hotspot of digital transformation, it reflects on our economic and social future and, more importantly, it is also made here. Hands on and in the best Upper Austrian sense with rolled-up sleeves. I can not ask for a more exciting job” says Johannes Pracher, new campus manager of factory300.
