The news was known this afternoon when Amazon itself made official the arrival of Apple Music to Amazon Echo devices and all those that are compatible with the Alexa assistant such as the speakers of the firm Sonos among others.
Apple Music continues to make its way in a competitive market such as streaming music, especially when Spotify is still a very interesting option for the millions of users who listen to streaming music.
But now we are not going to enter into the controversial struggle between these two services and we are going to focus our attention on the official arrival of Appple Music on Amazon devices and those of third parties provided they have Alexa support. Amazon Echo Dot, Echo Plus and Eco Show 5 and other third-party devices with Alexa already have this service as indicated by Amazon itself in an official statement:
From now on, customers can now ask Alexa to play their favorite songs, artists, albums or any of the playlists created on Apple Music. Users can also ask Alexa to tune into radio stations specializing in popular genres such as Hip-Hop, decades like the 80s and even music stations around the world, such as K-Pop.
In this way we can start using the corresponding skill for Sonos speakers to enjoy Apple Music on them. Very good news for Apple users who see how little by little Apple Music is expanding.
