AXA IM launches global fintech fund

AXA Investment Managers launches AXA WF Framlingt on FinTech. This is a global fintech fund. It was launched on the back of a successful fund rally in Japan. The strategy saw inflows of about $ 1 billion.

About The Fund

The Fund is a name change and shift of the investment focus of UK-based AXA Framlington Financial. Furthermore, the fund, renamed FinTech, has its origin in Luxembourg and  Vincent Vinatier manages it.

“Technological change is changing many aspects of our lives and actions. This applies in particular to financial services. Innovations in finance technology such as mobile banking, digital payments, big data, and analytics are signalling the beginning of a new era and influencing the daily use of our money, “says Vinatier.

The newly launched fund aims to invest globally

The newly launched fund aims to invest globally in a concentrated group of 40 to 60 companies. AXA IM also relies on cashless companies, innovation leaders and technology enablers.

AXA WF Framlington FinTech is part of the Evans Economy AXA-IM fund range. It focuses on five key topics: Automation, Connected Consumer, Aging and Lifestyle, CleanTech and Transitioning Societies.
