German investors are looking for startups

The Venture Network of Deutsche Börse and Alphazirkel, a network of more than 5,000 family businesses, have set themselves the goal of bringing together companies with national and international investors. The “Investor Talk” in Munich provides a framework for discussions with or without a specific investment project.

Ten to fifteen companies from a range of industries will present themselves to selected investors such as venture capitalists, private equity investors and family offices. In addition to the presentations, there will be plenty of time for personal networking during the one-day event. In addition, companies have the opportunity to meet investors in previously agreed one-on-one talks.

Investor talks have so far taken place in New York, Boston, Palo Alto, Monaco, London, Paris and Frankfurt am Main. More than 400 one-on-one talks have already been realized.

Wildcards for advanced startups

At the Munich Investor Talk on 2 April, some places for startups are kept free. The event is aimed at advanced startups: applicants for one of the wildcards should already have a turnover of at least 3 million euros and a financing of 5 million euros.

Participation is usually only possible by invitation. Interested parties write an e-mail to Yannick L. Kämpf of Deutsche Börse.
