Google and SAP announce a contest which is focusing on entrepreneurs

Aimed at social entrepreneurs (over 18) who are owners or leaders of social enterprises, socially oriented companies,  and non-profit organizations that present a sustainable proposal capable of generating revenue, Google Cloud and SAP made the announcement of the Circular Economy contest 2030 during the World Economic Forum that is taking place in Davos, Switzerland.

This contest invites social entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the solutions offered by Google Cloud and SAP to intervene production and consumption processes in order to boost economic growth following the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations.

Those interested in competing should send their income generation proposal from 8 to 15 March, addressing issues related to sustainable consumption and production using the solutions offered by Google Cloud and SAP.

Of all the proposals that are received, only five semifinalists will be chosen who will have the opportunity to attend Google Cloud Next, to be held from April 9 to 11, 2019 in San Francisco, California to learn, directly, from experts, developers and executives on technological solutions in the cloud.

Then in the second phase of the contest, the semifinalists will test the learning acquired in the Next participating, in person, in a hackathon.

In this stage, the winner of the contest will be defined and announced, publicly, during the SAP Sapphire that will be from May 7 to 9, 2019 in Orlando, Florida.

The winner of the contest and the semifinalists will receive funds in the amount of $ 100,000 and $ 25,000 respectively, credit grants in the cloud such as the Google Cloud for Startups Spark Package, access to products, mentoring programs offered by Google Cloud and SAP and other awards experiential

The contest will be open worldwide and for the development of this competition, Google Cloud and SAP allied with the United Nations Environment Program, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the World Association for Sustainable Development Data and the Fund. The world for Wildlife, in the joint convergence, that all share and promote intersectoral collaboration.
