Google Pay continues adding new banks in Spain

Google Pay continues to grow little by little in Spain. The payment platform of Google, designed for users with Android phones or watches with Wear OS is present in many countries, although in our country its progress is being somewhat slower. One of the main problems is that most large banking entities do not have compatibility. Little by little, they add new banks.

In this case, three new banks are added to the list of compatible banks in Spain with the payments app of the American firm. So its presence becomes a little bigger.

The last ones to join the platform are Banco Pichincha, Pibanck and the Rebellion prepaid virtual card. In this way, the list of entities that are compatible with Google Pay in Spain becomes 14 in total. It is not a widespread presence, although there are some entities of importance in this list, such as BBVA or Bankia, which have many clients. So they have access to the Google payments app from their account.

The presence of mobile payments is increasing. Although in the case of Spain, many banks and boxes have their own application, so many users bet on the bank’s own app instead of betting on Google Pay.
