Google supports 10 new startups

For three months, the team of these companies will receive intensive mentoring to overcome their technological challenges related, for example, with artificial intelligence.

Google announced on Tuesday the 10 startups that will be part of the first class of Google Launchpad Accelerator.

These companies, originally from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile, will participate in a three-month process where they will be helped, through intensive mentoring, to develop and overcome their technological challenges, mainly in artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, Android, Google Cloud Platform and web solutions (Progressive Web Apps, Accelerated Mobile Pages, among others).

The program is focused on helping startups create technologies and products that are attractive, scalable and impactful.

The selected startups are:

-Agilis: They are the first Argentine company that offers guaranteed financing in goods, such as real estate or automobiles.

-Ben & Frank: This Mexican startup aims to make the experience of buying glasses online as fast and reliable as it is in a traditional store.

-SendingClick: It is a Colombian-Mexican logistics service that connects cargo transport providers with businesses in Latin America, and optimizes logistics processes.

-Herolens: This Argentine digital advertising management and automation platform allows brands to be more reactive to their environment and have better data on performance.

-Klustera: This Mexican startup allows you to understand the behavior of customers of an online or offline establishment, with greater speed and precision.

-LaHaus: This Colombian startup facilitates the process of purchasing real estate from the search of the property to the transactional and legal processes prior to the closing of the acquisition.

-Ripio: This Mexican-Argentine company offers a catalog of financial services based on cryptoactives, from the purchase of cryptocurrencies to microcredits.

-Synapbox: They are a Mexican market research platform that offers great flexibility in capturing your data and uses artificial intelligence.

-Ualá: This Argentine Fintech offers the first debit card completely free in that market, and is integrated with an application that allows its users to make movements.

-Wheel The World: This Chilean online market specializes in serving people with disabilities through a global catalog of tourism products aimed at that segment.

The initiative has the collaboration of Centraal, a coworking office company and seeks to develop a solid ecosystem of startups both in Mexico and in Latin America.

In a statement, Google pointed out that the approaches and markets of startups range from logistics to digital advertising and that four of them have women among their founders or their executive team.

“For Google, these startups offer global class solutions to specific problems of the Spanish-American and world markets. They were selected because they have the potential to execute, grow and scale their value proposition, and to become or consolidate themselves as referents of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, “said the letter.

The startups will receive accompaniment and mentoring from April to June, experts in technology, product, investment and marketing inside and outside of Google, as well as training in public relations and leadership.

The program will also open opportunities for these companies to get in touch with international media.

During the program, the teams of the selected startups will receive – with all expenses paid – training, workshops and mentoring in three boot camps, each lasting one week, in the coworking space of Centraal and at Google headquarters in Ciudad from Mexico.
