Insights into three German startups

The startups are getting more and more investments nowadays. Let’s not talk about others, just take a look on Fintech Mambu, Electrochea and German Autolabs. As they are the shinning example of others too.

Mambu

US investor Bessemer Venture Partners and existing investors Acton Capital, CommerzVentures, Point Nine Capital and Runa Capital are investing € 30 million in Fintech Mambu, a SaaS banking platform. Launched in 2011, the young company enables banking service providers to develop credit product in a short time.

Electrochaea

The French energy provider engie invests information from deutsche-startups.de together with the old investors btov Partners, KfW, Munich Venture Partners and the Family Office Caliza in the energy startup Electrochaea. The Munich based company offers like sonnen, which has just been acquired by Shell for 500 million. The opportunity to save electricity from renewable energies. Electrochaea, founded by Mich Hein, was launched in 2006.

German autolabs

nbr Tech Ventures, the VC Fonds Technologie Berlin coparion on board and the previous main investor Target Partners are investing seven million euros in the Berlin startup German Autolabs. In 2016, founders Holger G. Weiss and Patrick Weissert start the Deep Tech business and develop Chris, a language assistant for every vehicle. The purpose of the new capital is to drive the launch of the digital voice assistant in Europe and accelerate the further development of the underlying voice AI platform for the automotive industry.
