More cases of partnership between big companies and startups: Degussa Bank acquires Munich General Insurance Services

Through its subsidiary Prinas Montan, Degussa Bank acquires Munich-based startup Munich General Insurance Services. Founded in 2014, the company is known as “Mobile Insured” and provides insurance brokers and their customers with a digital overview of ongoing contracts.

At the heart of the Mobile Insurance offer is an intermediary and management platform used by more than 1,000 brokers. Prinas Montan offers insurance solutions to the workforce of companies and wants to release synergy effects through the acquisition.

Mario Herz, Managing Director of Prinas Montan, says:

With bundled technology and sales expertise, we can make our insurance and financial services offering even smarter, simpler and more efficient – for customers, partners and intermediaries”.

Munich General Insurance Services wants to “continuously expand technology offerings”
