Peruvian Startup wins MIT global technology competition

Through social networks, Robinson Lopez, CEO of Agros, dedicated this recognition to the thousands of farmers and their families to whom they are changing their lives with this venture.

The eyes on Latin America

“Thanks once again to those who bet on us, who believe in our purpose. We will not stop until we achieve equal opportunities for small farmers, through technological and financial resources”, said the founder of Agros.

The team received the award at the official MIT headquarters in Masachussets. The Peruvian startup stood out among the finalists of the United States, Canada, Africa, Asia and Europe.

The relevance of awards

The competition awards more than one million dollars in awards to entrepreneurships in four categories that comprehensively represent the necessary solutions to build an economy that seeks integration in the digital era: Financial Inclusion, Income Growth and Job Creation, Development of Skills and Opportunity Matching, as well as Access to Technology.
