What is Moneycab? Swiss startup wants clean drinking water for everyone

A new provider in the field of intelligent water management is being created with the Swiss start-up company eventspine. The founders, led by principal shareholder Reza Shahabi (CEO), set ambitious targets for the launch: “We want to make sure that clean drinking water is available to everyone in sufficient quantity, quality and timing in the right place”.

It also includes unplanned events such as environmental disasters, cyberattacks or wars, foreseeing water scarcity and ensuring the smooth operation of water systems. For this eventspine develops a software solution that makes intelligent water management possible by means of functions for visualization, monitoring, resource-saving operation and decision-making using next-generation data analysis. The platform is intended to integrate future technologies such as cloud computing, IoT (Internet of Things) and artificial intelligence and is being developed in Switzerland.

Confidentiality, integrity and traceability of data

Therefore, eventspine also guarantees confidentiality, integrity and traceability as well as constant availability for all involved data. Shahabi emphasizes: “The Swissness of the solution is a critical factor in the international marketplace that builds trust. We guarantee a product with Swiss technology and Swiss quality, which is also not affected by the US Cloud Act”. Primary target markets are cities, regions and countries in Africa and Asia that are affected by acute or chronic water shortages. For this purpose, the company operates international cooperations in research, politics and industry and has the necessary skills to sensitize hazards and measures relating to the topic of water and to implement corresponding projects. Other founding partners are Adrian Hutzli, Fabian Rezzonico and André Vocat, their sign CEO, CTO and senior software architect of the software development company Intersys, which holds a minority stake in eventspine. The Chairman of the Board is Sam Asseer, internationally well-connected, former Chairman and CEO of the Dutch LCI Technology Group.

The solution should help the responsible authorities to prepare information on existing and required quantity, quality and loss of drinking water and to show what measures need to be taken when and where in the water cycle.

Core functionalities of the solution are

Visualization of the water by integration of existing data, cartography and a hydraulic model in a GIS environment (geographic information system) including hydraulic diagram of the network control center, infrastructure elements, images, documents and locations of measurement data sensors for the administration and analysis of measured data and simulated time series.

By integrating existing data, cartography and a hydraulic model in a GIS environment (geographic information system) including hydraulic diagram of the network control center, infrastructure elements, images, documents and locations of measurement data sensors for the administration and analysis of measurement data and simulated time series. Real-time monitoring of water supply with geographically localized warnings such as water outages, quality and availability analysis of data, detection of anomalies and verification of data authenticity.

With geographically localized warnings about water supply interruptions, quality and availability analysis of the data, detection of anomalies and verification of the authenticity of the data. Intelligent operation of the water enabled by artificial intelligence simulations, business rules and pattern recognition, and consideration of custom simulations and new real-time data sources to achieve very realistic scenarios.

Decision center for uninterruptible water supply with role-based KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and location-based and localized indicators for calculating and bridging supply shortages.

In addition to intelligent water management, the core of the solution should also find application in other areas, such as in the media or healthcare sector or in non-governmental organizations. Of the latter, a large Swiss organization has already bought the digitization solution, which brings the start-up company only a few months after the establishment of modest revenues.
