Conpend is digitizing the trade finance business

Main incubator GmbH, the research and development unit of the Commerzbank Group, is investing a six-figure sum in the Dutch Fintech startup Conpend. Conpend is digitizing the mostly manual and paper-based processes in the trade finance business. Conpend’s TRAFINAS software solution enables banks to digitize today’s process of trade finance within just a few months, reducing their processing time by up to 50 percent.

Main incubator GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Commerzbank, is researching future technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and robotics and is using existing solutions or developing their own for the banking of the future.
