A new payment service for cryptocurrencies will be launched in Switzerland

In May, a new payment service for cryptocurrencies will be launched with Inapay in Switzerland, according to a report on finews.ch.

The service developed by the Zug based Fintech Inacta and the Swiss crypto specialist Bity handles crypto payments via a smartphone app. The Zurich based five-star hotel Dolder Grand and the dealership Kessel with branches in Lugano and Zug have already been the first partners.

After the Inapay launch in May, customers of these two partners will be able to pay via Bitcoin and Ether. The respective amount will be booked in cash on receipt of payment.

In the course of the year, Inapay will then be made accessible to other customers. Inapay plans to add more cryptocurrencies as a payment option.

Although there are always messages about remote payment options for cryptocurrencies, as recently with the streaming service Twitch. The range of acceptance points for Bitcoin and Co. is constantly improving. For example, the financial services provider Zeux has announced a payment system for MIOTA tokens for acceptance points. With Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, which was jointly developed with the IOTA Foundation. And online retailers that have not yet offered a corresponding payment option, such as the Swiss company Digitec Galaxus are the first to introduce crypto payments.
