All you need to know about the payment method XRP

Amazon, one of the world’s largest online retailers, has recently partnered with global company WorldPay. The goal of the collaboration is to include Amazon Pay in the huge list of dealers of WorldPay, so at least according to a press release by PYMNTS on March 20, 2019.

WorldPay will be the first provider to implement Amazon Pay 100 percent for its merchants.

Amazon Pay is open to further innovation

Amazon Pay is a popular payment method on the ecommerce platform. But it is also used outside the Amazon website in various industries and dealers around the world.

Partnering with WorldPay is another important milestone, according to Amazon Pay Vice President Patrick Gauthier. It’s another step in fulfilling Amazon Pay’s vision of offering merchants a much broader range. The company’s goal is to become not only a global leader in online commerce, but also in general payment transactions.

Regarding Amazon Pay’s strategy to achieve this goal, Gauthier said:

We’ve really thought about how we can not only simplify integration and onboarding, but also continually improve operations. We have decided that the best solution for us is to be integrated with a large merchant acquirer, as it simplifies many of the everyday problems involved in settlement, reconciliation, reporting and dispute management.

In addition, Gauthier announced that Amazon Pay would enhance traders’ interaction with buyers and said that this partnership with WorldPay would be the starting point for further innovation in the payment industry.

Have you read it already? The Nash platform team (NEX) has announced that it will launch its private beta at the end of next month. In addition, among all participants $ 100,000 in Bitcoin and 46,000 Nash Exchange Token (NEX) will be raffled. Join the raffle now.

But how does Ripple fit into the picture?

The newly found partnership between Amazon Pay and WorldPay has thrilled ripple enthusiasts. Through the partnership, they hope that Amazon will approach the introduction of ripple (XRP) in a seductive way.

This hope is due to the fact that WorldPay was recently acquired by the US fintech company Fidelity National Information Services, which is a partner of Ripple Labs.

A partnership that means the future

Amazon Pay’s Gauthier also said that this latest partnership is just the starting point for further innovation in the payment industry. Of course, such a statement leaves much room for further speculation.

In addition, Amazon works with Axis, an Indian bank that is a participant in Ripples network. According to Coinspeaker, Amazon and Axis are working together to ensure the functionality of a new payment app for purchasing products on Amazon and XRP is said to have been used.
