Corporate meets startup: Successful cooperation between the data startup Exit Entry and EY

The etventure Startup Hub promotes collaboration between corporates and startups in a variety of ways and is also a partner in the EU’s Startup Lighthouse program. This project helps startups to establish themselves in various European markets. Each partner organizes “Deep Dive Weeks” in different European cities – a week full of workshops and meetings with potential clients and investors. Founder Lewize Crothers took part in the Startup Lighthouse program in Lisbon in 2018 with her startup Exit Entry. That’s how we came into contact with EY, which has since become a successful partnership. Read more in our interview!

Lewize, please introduce us to your Startup Exit Entry in a few sentences

Exit Entry is a data-centric app that measures, presents, and connects with students’ soft skills for work opportunities with multinational companies and corporations. We identified key skills and compared them to students and graduates using data analysis and machine learning. Our team consists of psychologists, tech and business experts.

You participated in the Deep Dive Week Lisbon 2018. How did the week help your startup grow?

Participating in Deep Dive Week in Lisbon was a great opportunity for us to gain insights into the startup ecosystem in Lisbon. During this time, we have established many relationships that have enabled us to build European contacts and partnerships with global companies.

Recently you started a collaboration with EY Ireland. Tell us a bit about it: How will this collaboration change EY as an organization?

Exit Entry has been working for nine months with the testing and consulting firm EY (Ernst & Young) as a trial partner in Ireland. This was valuable to us, as feedback enabled us to tailor our product to the needs of the industry in a global enterprise and graduate acquisition. We enable EY to produce a tailor-made product to handle its graduate acquisition, drive marketing and employer branding campaigns, and connect directly with students worldwide. Exit Entry will officially launch its product in April 2019.
