Fintech Avaloq joins the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance

Avaloq, a leading fintech company and global provider of software as a service (SaaS) and business process as a service (BPaaS) for banks and asset managers, is the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA), the world’s largest open source Blockchain initiative, joined.

As a member of the EEA, Avaloq will work with industry leaders to develop best practices, open standards and open source reference architectures for ethereum-based enterprise technologies. Avaloq wants to use Ethereum technology to create new and innovative use cases for banks.

Partnerships seem to work

“We are delighted to join the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. For us, this represents a decisive step in promoting innovations in connection with blockchain technology, “says Thomas Beck, CTO at Avaloq. “The EEA gives us access to additional know-how and ideas for using this groundbreaking technology. This will allow us to address specific enterprise-based use cases in the financial industry, as well as provide new services in other areas relevant to our clients.”.

Very important in the sector

With more than 400 member companies, the EEA membership base represents a wide range of industry sectors from around the world, including technology, banking, government, healthcare, energy, pharmaceuticals, marketing and insurance. The industry-focused, member-driven working groups of the EEA are tasked with developing and delivering specific advanced solutions for the development and use of ethereum-based technologies.
