Google is taking over: Now it’s moving its financial services from London to Dublin

The technology giant has taken the decision to move its payment platforms from London to Ireland, before a Brexit without agreement.

The company has announced to its users that as of April 4 the company responsible for offering the services will be the subsidiary Google Ireland Limited.

The financial activity

This financial activity of the company in Europe was centralized from London. From Google have explained that the transfer is not temporary.

Given the uncertainty posed by Brexit, many companies have announced that they move their activity to another country in the European Union.

Google, not the first

The case of Google is not the first. TransferWise, the global currency trader, will attend all payments from the European Economic Area from April 10th from the Brussels office.
