Fintech company expands

Increase, a company that empowers businesses through technological solutions and connecting them together, announces the organization with Google Developers and A3 of the second edition of Launchpad Start Fintech, a five-day hyper-acceleration training camp adapted to the needs of the startups, which will take place from April 8 to 12, in A3 El Salvador.

The Launchpad Start is designed to promote entrepreneurship and support the local ecosystem. These events are held regularly in cities such as Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Singapore, London, New York, Bogotá, and Mexico City.

“At Google DevRel we know the Argentine entrepreneurship ecosystem up close, and we are convinced that Launchpad Start is one of the best tools to generate rapid impact. This is one of our flagship events because of the value it gives to the entrepreneurs and mentors who participate, and because of the link it generates between them, “says Francisco Solsona, Manager of Relations with Developers in Hispanic America at Google.

The program focuses on the solution of specific challenges, including product, user experience, marketing, business and growth. For a week, startups delve into aspects of their business based on pre-decided issues that are key to early-stage startups. Topics range from Business, Growth, UX / UI, Design and Development to Finance, Technology, Marketing and Product, with selected experts for each topic.

The program will have mentors and experts from the Google network, Increase and A3, from Mexico, Colombia, the United States and Argentina. For this edition fintech will be lead by Pablo Croci, CMO of Increase and references of the fintech industry in the region.

“From Increase we are interested in the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, especially in the Fintech segment, which is why we support this program,” said Pablo Croci, CMO of Increase.

A high impact program

In the first edition of the program held in Buenos Aires in 2018, 14 startups participated.

“For us the passage through the LaunchPad was key: not only did we have fun and consolidated as a team, we brought new friends, good frameworks and a lot of homework. I think that today a good part of Agilis’ day-to-day life is shaped by practices that we incorporate into the LaunchPad, such as OKRs or Design sprints, “said Manuel Mauer, Co-founder and COO of Agilis.

“We also met more mature companies, such as Increase, which, in the manner of a forward mirror, helped us imagine a very stimulating future for Agilis. Which, in the sea of uncertainties involved in setting up a start-up in Argentina, is vital. We also had a couple of key mentors, who connected us with other valuable people who are now part of the Agilis team. The LaunchPad was for us a shortcut, a lot of encouragement and a great toolbox, “he added.

Launchpad Start Fintech is designed to achieve an incredible amount of progress in a short time, and will host Argentine entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs for a week.
