These finteches grew the most in Europe

The Financial Times included Movetia as the Top 1000 among the companies that have grown the most in Europe and is ranked 142 in its ranking. The Spanish consultancy is the second fintech company with the highest growth in Spain. This was reported by ECD, on March 20.

As they explained, the international ranking “FT 1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies 2019”, included for the second year in a row Movetia in its ranking with the 1,000 companies that have grown the most in Europe, after analyzing 50,000 companies in 31 countries. The Spanish consultancy is the second fintech company with the highest growth in Spain.

They also noted that Spain occupies fifth place in the ranking with a total of 97 companies with the fastest growth in Europe.

The Financial Times list, drawn up from the 1,000 innovative and high growth companies in Europe, took into account a total of 50,000 organizations from 31 European countries during the 2014-2017 period.

The consulting firm Movetia is dedicated to developing digital products and services for companies. It obtained an increase of 909 percent during this period (510 percent in 2017) and a turnover of almost 4.9 million euros in 2017, all with a work team of about 80 people. In 2018, it increased its business volume by 30 percent to reach 6.4 million euros and a staff of 100 at the end of the year. By 2019 the company plans to increase its business volume by 31% and exceed 8.4 million euros.

Fintech companies in the ranking

According to the article, of the 19 Fintech companies that appear in the ranking, Movetia is the number 14 with the highest growth in all of Europe, and the second in Spain, which reaffirms the Strategic Plan of the consultant for the coming years.

Classification of countries

Regarding the classification by countries, the first place is occupied by Germany, with 230 companies in the ranking. They are followed by Italy (208), France (174) and the United Kingdom (131). Spain is the fifth European country with the most companies in the ranking (97). London tops the list of host cities for these companies, with 63 companies with the fastest growth in Europe.
