Endeit Capital, EnBW New Ventures, EnjoyVenture with the BLSW seed and growth fund and the High-Tech Gründerfonds are investing 7 million euros in the Cologne startup gridscale, a provider of Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as- a-service solutions. The fresh investment should flow into the international growth and the continuous development of the platform. gridscale was founded in 2014 by Henrik Hasenkamp, Michael Balser and Torsten Urbas.

Automation Hero

Atomico, the Chinese tech group Baidu and the Berlin-based VC Cherry are investing a total of 14.5 million US dollars in the German-American startup Automation Hero founded by Stefan Groschupf. With the new capital, the company plans to expand its locations in Berlin and Halle.

3dvisionlabs

The technology start-up fund Saxony invests in 3dvisionlabs, a company that develops a camera technology that, in combination with AI methods, can capture a complete room with a sensor in three dimensions and evaluate the data. 3dvisionlabs was founded in 2017 in Chemnitz by Lars Meinel. With the fresh capital, the startup plans to increase its employees and introduce the first commercial version of the product in the market.

SIMSme

Deutsche Post sells its instant messaging service SIMSme to the Munich-based company Brabbler, which was founded in 2015 by GMX founders Karsten Schramm, Eric Dolatre and Peter Köhnkow together with Jörg Sellmann. Both sides have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

Doctipharma

DocMorris parent company Zur Rose buys the online platform Doctipharma from the Lagardère group in Paris. In the coming months, the platform will be integrated into the Spanish web platform Zur Rose subsidiary Promofarma. Doctipharma was founded in 2014 by Stéphanie Barré.

Ligatus

The Hamburg-based publisher Gruner + Jahr sells its native advertising platform Ligatus to its US competitor Outbrain. In return, G + J secures a seat on the supervisory board of the US corporation. “We expect Outbrain to achieve $ 100 million in sales in one year through the merger,” said Alexander Erlmeier, International Head of Outbrain.
