Is Latin America the new Fintech future?

To achieve digital transformation and innovation in Latin America comes the first version of Digit Latam, the event that aims to integrate and unify the corporate world and startups in a single platform.

According to Ariel Valverde, regional director of Digit Latam, this first event aims to provide executives and entrepreneurs who attend the event with key tools to successfully implement a digital transformation in their companies or ventures and also try to ensure that innovation is implanted as a DNA within their corporations.

“Another objective is to promote technology-based ventures in the Latin American region in order to demonstrate that technology and exports are produced in our region,” Valverde announced.

In this first event issues of change management, customer experience, user experience, artificial intelligence, social innovation and techniques to promote innovation will be discussed, for which 8 speakers of international stature have been confirmed.

Among the speakers are Juan Carlos Acosta, former CEO of Tigo Colombia, Carlos Molina, Vp Experience of IZO, Javier Iglesias, Global Director of Operations at Opinno, Gabriel Marcolongo, CEO and founder of Inclúyeme, Gabriel Celemin, CEO of Giro 54, Patricio Cobre, CEO of Metric Arts, Rodrigo Salazar, founder of + Identidade and Carlos Salinas, CEO and founder of Luuna.

“Bolivia was chosen as the location for the first version due to its strategic location as it is in the center of the South American region and that the next stop for Digit Latam is Paraguay,” the executive announced.
