New types of answers for the assistant
Google has announced through blog the new types of answers offered by its Assistant after its latest update for Android phones, which include a new interface for categories such as events, and an access to useful tools such as the tip calculator.
What does the latest version do?
This latest version of Google Assistant creates answers with cards that present the key information that has been requested in a search, which could include existing ads in the search engine “when relevant”, as the company clarifies in the blog post. For some questions, you can also show a series of links to different web sources to “learn more”.
This version of the Google Assistant is now available for Android phones.
