Do you want to enrich your consumer data but don’t know where to start? This is when an API may come in handy.
The information gathered from a company’s customer database is called customer data. This activity allows us to gain a better understanding of our customer’s preferences and behaviours. This allows for better content personalization, increasing revenue.
Data enrichment is taking the information that we previously have collected or purchased and adding new information that we have gathered from other sources. This information allows us to learn a lot about our customers. As a result, organizations can make better decisions, leverage their audience base, and personalize their customer’s experiences leading to happier customers, and more revenue.
The Snowflake Data Marketplace enables data consumers to access and query available data sets and services to drive informed data-driven decisions. This data isn’t perfect though, and this means that it can be improved upon.
That’s where Data enrichment and Klazify come in.
Klazify is a website categorization API that can perform many tasks:
- It can categorize web pages into 350+ categories, utilizing one of three different category formats.
- All of a domain’s social media networks and logos are gathered and updated in real-time.
- It examines the text and meta tags of a website. The text on the webpage is scanned using Natural Language Processing. This is how it categorizes the website.
This means that, for example, you can use the powerful classification tool to assign categories to all of your customer’s emails (the ones that have a company/custom domain). You then add this information to your preexisting customer database.
How does Klazify work?
To begin, you insert a corporate email domain (not @gmail.com or @hotmail.com). Then they look to see if the identical domain exists on the internet. They next examine that page and assign the company’s website to one of 385+ topic areas.
This program uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) and a Machine Learning Engine. It examines the webpage’s content and categorizes it into 385+ probable subject groups using the IAB V2 standard. You’ll always have access to the most recent social network links because of their real-time APIs. The JSON, Python, and PHP Curl formats of the API response make it simple for developers.
Which types of domains and languages are supported?
Klazify supports all the domains available and almost all of the languages in the world.
